I was born into a family with Italian roots, in an environment where elegance, art, and good taste were not just preferences — they were a way of life. I still remember, as a child, watching with fascination the leather workshops in Italy, where skilled artisans would bring hides to life with their hands. The scent of natural leather, the precise sound of scissors cutting through it, the meticulous attention to detail — all these awakened in me a passion that has never left.

I’ve always dreamed of creating. Of bringing to life objects that are not only beautiful but also tell a story. A story about strong women — confident, yet sensitive and deeply connected to aesthetics. Women who see fashion as a form of expression, not just a dress code. That’s how D’Ortenzi was born — not just as a brand, but as an extension of my soul.

I chose to have our production made in a workshop in Romania — a deliberate and profoundly symbolic decision. I deeply believe that Romania has exceptional craftsmen, people with golden hands and a precision that rivals the great fashion houses of the world. Every D’Ortenzi bag, shoe, or accessory reflects their careful work — a blend of tradition, patience, and pure passion.

We work exclusively with the finest quality natural leather, transforming it into unique pieces with distinct textures — pony, croco, and python — all finished to perfection. Every detail is designed for the modern woman who desires authentic luxury, yet never forgets the value of art and craftsmanship.

For me, D’Ortenzi represents a bridge between past and future. It’s my way of honoring my Italian heritage, classical refinement, and the innovative spirit of contemporary women.
